Shortcut:
We know that the expected value of rolling a '6-sided' die: (1+2+3+4+5+6)/6 = 3.5
 The expected sum of rolling 2  '6-sided' dice: 2* (1+2+3+4+5+6)/6 = 2*3.5= 7

How would i find the variance of this? I believe the value of the variance is = 5.833, but I cannot figure out how to use the data to calculate this value. Any help/explanation would be greatly appreciated!
