Hi Dana! 2:14 So, I don’t agree with everything Dave Ramsey says, but I do think there’s real, scientific merit in getting rid of your smallest debt first, as he teaches. The psychology of a quick win getting you fired up and motivated to do more is real, so I suggest starting with the smallest debt, getting it out of your life, putting that monthly payment toward the next smallest debt, etc.

Dana, these are good points all! Years ago, when my beautiful old Dodge Intrepid started having transmission issues for the 2nd time, I didn't hate the car, but I was fatigued. I was working 2 jobs (in my 60s) and when offered a newer SUV, I caved and bought it. For what it would have cost to get the Intrepid's transmission rebuilt, I could've avoided five years of debt. duh!! With age comes scars from having learned the hard way.

Thank you, Dana! I only have mortgage debt but paying like $300 extra on it so hopefully will cut down the payment to 20 years instead of 30. But also trying to focus on balacing savings and investing. So some of these tips are helpful in terms of keeping expenses low, I'm especially aiming to use what i have before buying replacements or new items. This includes reading the books and playing the games i current own ❤

I start a new job tomorrow. My plan is by June to start paying off an old student loan. That is my biggest debt on my credit score. My husband is working on his back child support. Our only other goal is to save $2, 000 for our emergency fund.

I LOVE your videos and am so glad you are putting out content again. I like your earrings. I try to do a Project 333 wardrobe and have narrowed my jewelry down to gold hoop earrings in different sizes and two gold bracelets. The earrings are the only kind that show with my long, thick hair:)

Hi Dana, kinda opposite of what someone in debt would be, but have you read the book "Die with Zero" by Bill Perkins? I found that book very helpful in thinking of balance in finance, although, some people see it as anti-savings. Would like to know your opinion on it. Thanks

I like when you dont count the different tips as many do "ok number 17 is.." that doesnt matter, we want the tips not the number on the tips 😃🙌💁‍♀️
