Hello Friends!

Here is part 2 to Color Theory 101!

If you haven't seen part 1 than I recommend that you go check out that video first! In this video I be covering on how to mix colors with acrylic paint using color theory. Color Theory and the Color Wheel play a huge part in mixing colors. I will explain how recognize whether paint is warm, cool, or neutral. How to recognize the undertone of paint, and what happens when you mix together two opposing undertones. Understanding how paint undertones affect will your color mixing will help you to avoid muddy colors!

I highly recommend the book : Color Theory: An essential guide to color-from basic principles to practical applications (Artist Library) by Patti Mollica.

This video is Fantastic! It really helped with a problem I've been having. I just started learning how to paint, but I've been struggling with not getting the colors I want when mixing colors. I even bought expensive Golden and Liquitex paints since I've heard cheaper paints don't always mix well. It got better, but I still got odd colors. I've watched a ton of color mixing videos, but none ever really explained how color undertone makes such a difference. This video explained it perfectly. I tried it your way, and it worked!! *Thank You So Much!!*
