The Mazda BT-50 now is based on the Isuzu Dmax which it also competes with in the local market. Priced at 1.43 million, it will compete directly with the Dmax LS-A 4x2 which is priced just a bit lower. In this video, we'll take the BT-50 on a test drive, we'll take a tour around the exterior, the interior and we'll try to compare it with the Dmax LS-A 4x2

boss suggestion, everytime you do a test drive, show the route from casa to skyway, so that it serves a guide for buyers from the province that are planning to buy in ncr😅

Id' choose BT-50 over Dmax. You get free PMS with any Mazda vehicle. Absolutely free, oil, parts and labor. While sa Isuzu, gagastos ka ng minimum 10k-20k per PMS.

We are Mazda owners since 2008 and owned or own just every model front the Mazda 3 up. We are looking for a «lifestyle» pickup and so we were very excited when Mazda announced an upcoming new BT-50. But this model is a disappointment for us - style and technical. I know and accepted that Mazda has to make compromises as a small manufacturer. But the new BT-50 has too much compromises. I take several looks at my local Mazda dealer, but I am not convinced. We probably will look at the new Ford Ranger which is that kind of modern pickup I expected from Mazda.
The new BT-50 was introduced in Thailand some months ago. The sales are extremely low. I fear, the new BT-50 will cost Mazda a lot of money.

Is there any difference in terms of ride quality from the Dmax?

My bt50 starter motor failed and it's just 1 yr old. now we have to wait 3-4 weeks to get the unit back if the stock is vailable in manila. or worse, have to wait 3-4 months if they have to order the parts in japan. It's ridiculous. NO MORE MAZDA FOR ME in the future
