Standing out from the pack is not always easy. But for Tigger, an elderly cat at the local shelter, it was a matter of survival. As most of the animals around him had been visited and picked over the last 3 years, Tigger never left. Each time a new visitor came to the shelter, her thin brown tail would wag with excitement. She took a while to get to her feet, and once she did, they had already moved on to the next animal. Little did Tigger know that she was about to meet her perfect new owner.
