Every Superhero Who Appeared in the DCEU

The DC Extended Universe is the main live action DC Universe created as an attempted answer to Marvel’s Marvel Cinematic Universe beginning with Man of Steel in 2013 and now coming to an end with the release of The Flash which will reset the timeline creating what is now known as the DCU. That being said, since the DCEU is soon coming to an end I thought it would be a great time to take a look back at every DCEU project and list of every DC superhero who appeared or were confirmed to exist in this universe before the release of The Flash.

*Fun fact:* Speaking of Peacemaker, Alan Moore planned to use him and some of the other Charlton Comics characters as the protagonists of Watchmen, but DC's refusal to kill them caused Moore to create The Comedian and cast him in the role he had reserved for Christopher Smith. Surely, if the opposite had happened, Peacemaker would have tried to r*pe Nightshade.

My theory is that the flash will create a soft reboot. It's still connected but a new universe. Sort of like crisis in the arrowverse but much bigger in terms of changes. Basically letting them use the flash movie to change what the want (like batman and superman). But keep what they want (like Amanda Waller and peacemaker)

Speaking of "A Death in the Family, " I've always found pretty fascinating the alternate page the authors made in case fans voted for Jason to live, which shows a blissful Batman holding Jason's body while yelling, "He's alive! Thank God!" I wonder how the Batman stories would have continued from that point if that page was the one used at the end. Anyway, it was colored and featured in "Batman Annual 25", the special issue that tells how Jason was revived, as "the reality that should have been", according to the narrator. They should have definitely adapted it for the interactive film

3:20 The detail of Robin being killed by Joker AND Harley is actually a detail that director David Ayer HATES and didn’t want in the movie. He said himself that the timeline of that film clueing makes absolutely no sense if Harley was there and I agree, it was purely a studio note that forced it’s way into the film. I just chalk it up to an ignorable misreport of Robin’s death.

Weird coincidence that the arrowverse and the dceu ended in the same year. Hopefully the DCU can feel more like a proper cinematic universe and not have a 6 year period of limbo where none of the justice league characters futures were certain.

It's funny that you mention Michael Keaton for the Flash, but not the other Batman, you know who, because you had not seen the film yet at the time. And all the other cameos for that matter. But hey, technically, this isn't the the main timeline, so it's fine.

Please do a Hero and Villain tournament again for the Arrowverse now that its over. It'll be a nice callback and way to wrap your reviews of the Arrowverse. I guess you can wait until Gotham Knights and S&L are over but if so then you should include Stargirl and Titans so your choice i guess

One bone to pick: we don’t know WW 3 would have been as bad as WW84. Patty directed the first which was AWESOME. And Geoff John’s wouldn’t have written the script which was the big issue with WW84

I thought aqwman and the lost kingdom takes place before the flash and in the dceu not the DCu
