If you just like trying out other peoples tactics for fun, that's completely fine.

But if you're watching these videos trying to improve at the game, hear me out.

4-2-3-1(2), 4-4-1-1 or the 4-2-1-3, even the regular 4231, all these formations all the same ( fundamentally )
If you like them, Here's my suggestion :

* Press after Pos. Loss ( dont worry, no stamina loss at this depth)
* Width 40 ( def & att )
* D 55
* Balanced / Balanced ( yes.. no direct passing )
* 7 players in the box.

Just put the CMs on stay central and Leave all other instructions default.
Do this so you can burn into your brain how each progressive action triggers another.
Who starts running when you pass to CAM ? How do the wingers act when you get the ball to your ST ?
How does the CAM move if you push the ball up with RCM ? How does the RM run ? What does the ST do ?
And so on.

With 7 players in box they will all make runs at some point depending on where you distribute the ball and how you're positioned on the pitch.
Play the game and start memorizing these patterns of the attacking AI until its second nature.
THEN - you can start making adjustments with instructions... put this guy on cut inside or that guy on stay wide come short , etc...
Learn how a formation works at its core, then tailor the tactics to your playstyle and the instructions to the individual players you have in each position.
Finally.. STICK WITH IT ! Try to get really good at one thing first, then you can start experimenting and expanding your arsenal.

Manu is the boss. Great player and great guy but the channel needs to put out content and needs views. So do hundreds of others.
Every 30 minutes some new video comes out : " THIS IS META 20-0 Tactics RANK 1 "

Find your own META. Make the formation and tactics work for you, not the other way around.

i love the 433 with wingers, a cdm two cm and cf. you can get the opponent wide because of the wingers, you always have your target mans ( even the wingers join in with the correct instructions ), the cms join the attack, create and make use of space, the cdm is your anchor and to recycle plays .. also its the only formation, apart from 5backs ofc, where i feel like you can leave both fullbacks on balanced allowing your team to play a lot better, more authentic football. really good tiki taka formation, for me as someone who doesnt abuse anything but just outplays his opponents, as fifa should be imo, its perfect and the only fun formation for me.

You said at one point in the video saying having your LB overlap your LM as a run type but in the instructions part you advised keep LB at stay back while attacking and everything else default so should the run type be default or overlap?
