You didn't even have to speak. I could see the look on your face while watching Dan sing. Amazement, awe, much the same as the rest of us. He is quite the performer as well as an incredible vocalist. I do hope you will listen to his cover of Amazing Grace. It is like no other you have ever heard and it is so moving. Another amazing one is Time to Say Goodbye. It is a duet with a wonderful female vocalist, and it is lovely. At the end he speaks about why that song is special to him. You mirrored my exact reaction when I discovered Dan. Try more acoustic if you like: Scarborough Fair, Loch Lomond, his non-metal Priscilla's Song original version. Try: Nessun Dorma, its classic. The Last Goodbye (from the Hobbit), Son of Pain, He has video playlists grouped by type, I had to sort of work my way into his total catalog slowly since I never really listened to rock or metal at all. Slowly I'm learning to appreciate various types of music I never believed I would like. Dan is able to convey his love of the beauty and passion in music like no one I've seen before. I agree with the other commenter who said you conveyed so much while you just watched. You didn't need to stop and comment during the video. I felt everything you did without one spoken word.
