Earlier the Mumbai Airport was operated by GVK and during that time security check for both domestic & international was different, but since the adani have taken the airport they have merged the security checks to cutdown the manpower which automatically effects passengers. Making travel lot of hetic at airport itself. Socho early morning flight mein aap adhi neend mein ho aur checking & security counter ke Que mein apko ek se do ghante nikalna pade. Socho kya hoga 😂

I'll share my recent experience of travel to Bali:
1. I took the Indigo flight direct from Bengaluru to Bali. It was tough being in that flight. I didn't care much for the entertainment, but it literally felt like there was shortage of air. A passenger complained about health discomfort too.
2. Immigration experience was the opposite for us in Bali. We did e-VOA, which BTW gives you the visa in literally 2 minutes online. Had filled up our customs form also online itself and generated QR code. At Bali immigration, our work was done in literally 2 minutes, and showed the QR code to customs deck and voila, we were out.

Indigo is a budget airline. You need to LOWER your expectations when flying Indigo. 30 to 60 minutes delay is normal for Indigo. Air-India is now a much better airline (under Tata Group). Unfortunately, Air-India does not fly direct to Indonesia. I am waiting for Air-India to start flying direct to Indonesia.

Yes. An important airport like Mumbai International is weird. Unlike Delhi and many other airports around the world, in Mumbai passport control comes after security, so they let domestic and international passengers stand in the same line for security, which adds to the time pressure because International passengers have to go through immigration as well. Plus there is no internal connectivity between the two terminals, and one has to go through the city by taxi. What to do with aesthetics if not efficient!
