How to set the shift indicator rpm on a Honda crf300L.

For those of you who don't read the manual like me, I just discovered this today from watching another video of it being set on a 250L, but I couldn't understand the language he spoke. After watching it, I wondered if it works on a 300L so i went and tried it. Sure enough it works the same as on a 250L. I downloaded the manual and took screenshots so you can pause the video if needed while trying it yourself.

In this video, after setting the shift indicator rpm, there's a screen that comes up and I didn't know what it did. That's explained on the last manual page. All 3 manual pages for this setting are full screen at the end if that helps in your phone or something.
