I haven't been to a concert yet so I can't tell. Maybe you're right, but Slow It Down and Caught in This Storm should be regulars! And they haven`t played Bullet Proof Angel yet!! Oh God this record is amazing!

All the hard guitar in "Last Hot Night" pumps up the crowd. It gives off a lot of energy to start the concert. Just my opinion.

I saw them in Cincinnati, OH and boy it had a strong effect on me. The Goo Goo Dolls don't want to walk up to the microphone and start the chorus. They want to come out and make an instant impression and that's by playing hard guitar. I've seen on here them opening up with strong guitar such as the alternative version of this song, "Stay With You", ""Long Way Down" and "Sweetest Lie". I agree but with them co-headlining they don't have as much room to work with...

I think I have watched this video around 500 times already. Why they don't put this song as a regular on the setlist? Last Hot Night is by far the least inspring song of the album and gets to be played every night! Wtf...

I wonder why Johnny is not playing the acoustic part

I wish Johnny will pick up the guitar and play with the alternate tunnings

Probably cuz' it's supposed to be a Mandolin part and no one is playing

How can you be so sure? With the fast pace of the song maybe he just wanted to use an electric guitar.

Nope, it's definitely a guitar part; you can see Korel playing it on the right. You can tell it's not Johnny playing it on the record, so I'm guessing he just doesn't know how to play it, let alone sing at the same time. This isa sad trend with GGD songs, actually.
