Unfortunately most of this information is out of date. Their dividend payout has dropped from 15B to around 8B, which is much more manageable. Their revenue has dropped because they've been selling off businesses, which has provided them the cash to drop their DEBT(not long term liabilities, which is NOT the same thing, there are many liabilities that don't have to be paid off) dropped from 208B to 136B this quarter(putting them very close to the 5x FCF number). That information alone makes this company vastly more interesting than what was presented here.

You may not have noticed inflation in years past, But 8%+ inflation over the past year should've taught you that the cost of living on 🌎 increases every year (home prices, rent, groceries, plane tickets, home repairs, etc.) Only way to beat inflation is by investing your money.

I bought close to open when it was down just shy of 9%. Been waiting on this stock for a long time. Pulled the trigger as soon as I realized it wasn’t a massive change to the company that caused the drop.

Also, T will have a pretty good future but it can’t be overlooked that they made two of the biggest blunders ever in buying DTV at its peak just before streaming took hold and then buying Warner shortly before the pandemic hit… couldn’t have worse timing if they tried

Does the stock analyser tool include the 5.5% dividend as part of the 12.5% returns? Or does it calculate the 12.5% returns purely on the inputted values?

Att wins in both mobility and wireline. They are profitable and they now grow similarly to T-Mobile but they are actually profitable. Investors kill att because of the debt.

I think Seth was referring to yield on cost? The shares that he bought lost value but he still gets the current yield of the market value of his position size . However his yield on cost remains lower than the current yield as he was suggesting I believe

where do you find the excel sheet website where you enter the details to calculate the value?

I bought a T Leap at $15 for $485 on April 12 expiring on Jan 19 2024. The break even price is $19.85. I have faith that T is undervalued and is definitely worth more than that amount in a 2 years time especially as they pay down debt. The LEAP had an implied volatlility of about 20% I believe so it was a basically cheap option for an undervalued stock.

you can t use the 5y free cashflow, to prove that the Dividend is covered, cause it spun of the discovery free cashflow.
