In 1453 Muhammad Al-Fatih conquered the most fortified city in the world: Constantinople. This narrative is based on what? Imagination and rose tinted glasses, not one reference given. The big difference between Spain and Constantinople is that Constantinople was never Muslim before the 15th Century, in Spain it was the reconcista (Reconquest) back to Christianity. All of Spain was Christian since at least 4th century.
