I love everything about a Chicago dog. And yes, the sport pickle is spicy (at least in my experience). The pickle wedge and the soft poppy seed bun make it for me. I NEED to try Portillo’s the next time I’m in So.Cal. The winds are all over California right now. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and the winds are knocking down trees, as well as the power. We were having nice temps, like you, and the winds brought us back to winter temps. Looking forward to the summer and the hot weather!

Portillos is the best and love the cake shake. You can also purchase an entire chocolate cake usually for $20 or a slice of cake as well. Enjoy. One of the best fast food places around.
