Thank you for clarifying the “every two hours” rule. Most YouTubers don’t mention that it only applies if you’re going to be in the water, sweat a lot, or out in the sun all day so I bet a lot of people have the wrong idea.

Biore watery essence spf 50 pa +++, absolutely nothing compares. It sinks into the skin and disappears. It is amazing and the ONLY spf that does not break me out. I order it on amazon.

For anyone with a smaller budget... I use Neutrogena Liquid Sheer Broad Spectrum SPF 70. It's $10...lasts me about 3 months. I have very sensitive, dry acne prone skin but this doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's advertised as non-pore clogging, no pilling, no white cast, designed for use with makeup. It is a chemical sunscreen, so I avoid my eye area because it makes my eyes water. I use a mineral sunscreen from Neutrogena for my eye area which costs $8 and lasts 6 months.

The reason dermatologists like Dr. Dray recommend reapplying SPF every 2 hours or at regular intervals even if you’re not spending a lot of time outdoors is because sunscreen tends to move around and get wiped off (in the same way makeup wears away). Also, it helps to instill sun protection as a behavior which ensures you’re always ready and protected. It’s not always practical or even possible depending on lifestyle and schedule but it is something to keep in the back your mind. Thankfully, even once daily applications provide significant benefit but if you have the ability to reapply, all the better.

Yes! Wayne thanks for clarifying the myth that we need to apply sunblock/screen every 1.5 to 2 hrs unless we're out in the sun. You're so amazing for debunking these myths and just great overall.

Love this! I just started using a retinoid and stumbled across dr.dray and dr.sam bunting on YouTube and I cannot believe that in the day and age of beauty in the YouTube community that EVERYONE isn't talking about sunscreen! They say sun exposure causes approx 90% of songs on aging in the skin! Wow! Again, Thank you for this!

Wayne is the only big channel I watch and comment on. I sometimes watch other large channels but I never comment. Why? Because I doubt that they read their comments. But Wayne, YOU are different, I am sure you listen. wow, I have been relying on my foundation. I am so glad I saw this. Thanks Wayne!

In case you're wondering if the Clinique Mineral SPF for the BODY will work on your face - I have them both - for face and body. My skin tends to get oily so I much more prefer the face one because it is like a fluid. The body one is in more of a thicker cream consistency and feels a bit too oily on my skin. Thanks for the advice though, I am using the body one for my neck and still save a little bit of product daily.

For oily skin I love the Eucerin Sun Gel-Creme Oil Control Dry Touch SPF 50+, it's so good under my makeup and it really controls excess oils. It was a game changer for me :)

You are so right on the Clinique SPF. A long time ago a Clinique representative told me the body one is the same as the face one. The body one is much bigger. I’ve been getting the body one ever since, it’s lasts for 3 months or so. Thanks for sharing your dermatologist recommendations. Ever since you showed us how much SPF it takes to really protect I’ve been implementing it everyday. 😁☀️

FINALLY!!! Someone finally mentions what type of sunscreen to use under makeup. I feel like other gurus have never mentioned or even prep with sunscreen.
