The Philippine's Luzon Strait islands were hit by Typhoon Doksuri as a Category 4. Also strong winds and rain are affecting the main regions of the Philippines, including Luzon. Doksuri is expected to keep a weakening trend as it moves norhwestwards towards China, expecting to make landfall in the country as a minimal typhoon or as a strong tropical storm in the next 2 days.

Prayers to those affected! Doksuri (Also known as Egay) is very large, and it appears to be the strongest tropical cyclone to make landfall in Fuga Island since records began! This surpassed the previous record, Typhoon Nuri (Also known as Karen) of 2008.
