The longest monument race of the season at 289km. This race has everything ! Tons of climbing, always the prospect of a sprint, beautiful spring weather, and Tadej Pogačar who has NEVER won the race. Mathieu van der Poel won in 2023 and Jasper Philipsen won in 2024.
Also, the women had their version today as well, with Lorena Wiebes outsprinting Marianne Vos and a tight finishing bunch of 12 riders !
