Reading an ad from Bambu and it says “Calibration? Gone!”. 1. This is the very first print. 2. This is their Benchy on the SD card that comes with the printer. 3. This print is set to standard speed because that is the setting in their Benchy’s gcode and it says “Standard Speed” on screen.

Not sure what is causing this issue, but on my A1 is printing great and the quality is amazing, I have for two weeks so far.

Looks like your printing at ludicrous speed. Which will obviously compromise on quality. You could slow it down, but then you don't get your click bait video. And before I get accused of being a Bambu fanboy, I own 0 Bambu printers. I just think this video is very disingenuous.

I don't own a Bambu Printer myself, but here some obvious points from what I can see (I guess you already know yourself, seeing that you 3D print for many years now, but anyhow):

1. first layer (and also the whole print) looks way overextruded -> since it should calibrate z height automatically, I guess the flowrate/extrusion multiplier or the printing temperature is too high for this filament (slowing down on the first layer also helps to fill in all the cracks of that textured sheet and can increase layer line bonding)
2. you seem to print too fast for the cooling (pillars of the cabin seem wavy / not straight). The cooling solution on this printer is not cable to keep up with the print speed (I'm guessing you print PLA?)

There might be even more to this, because the layering seems to be inconsistent, but without fixing the first two obvious problems, I can't tell for sure.

Click bait bad channel printed too fast. How about you let us know how long this benchy took to print?

If I made 200 videos and had less than 5k subs I would be salty too

My P1S and A1 are both just finishing 9+ hour prints in PETG which are perfect from layer one up. Everything is standard configuration, standard speed, which is several times the speed of last gen printers. My Kobra 2 Max is on the healing bench again with a double golfball sized extruded glob under the print head and my QIDI is currently not liking PLA at all and unable to make up its mind about z-height offset. I have a K1 Max in the mail, but just watched a fascinating YouTube video about all the ways it fails to live up to the print quality of the Bambu line. So yeah, actual experience suggests operator error on your part.

It appears you are printing too fast. The printer is good but its not magic. Bedslingers cant achieve perfect peints at that speed in 2024. Maybe a few more generations away. Also. What filiment and temp are you running looks like some tuneing is in order! Thats not the printers fault its your filiment.

First layer printing way too fast. And that is definitely not the slowest mode

Some more info is required. Filament brand and specifics if not Bambu lab tested, humidity levels, settings, etc. The standard benchy in the bambulab is not very good. Download and reslice per your specific filament.

I've only just started to be aware of Bamboo, I've heard good things though. You have bought a precision device that needs dialling in imo. This video is a hit job and you use the wrong tone. If you want perfection you are in the wrong hobby and you have the wrong mindset for the home 3d print game.

To all that say it's the guys fault, read his pinned comment first. He's printing the benchy file that Bambu themselves provided on standard settings. Granted if this happened on an ender, I'd be fine with it, but it's happening on a premium machine thats supposed to be ready to print flawlessly. It seems like Bambu is getting blind fans like Apple who will always say it's the buyers fault. I was contemplating getting one but with the premium price and the various issues (and there are issues) I can't justify the purchase.

quit using the support filament and use some good filament

Most likely an issue with slicer settings or you need to do maintenance (or at least check some stuff).
That's not firmware related.
No one stops you from buying electric trash from Creality. Go for it.

thousands of people are happy with their printers... unsatisfied??? just send it back... ask for different machine... there could posssibly be something wrong with this one... ive got two of them... both prints flawlessly... with no problem...
