Data Lake is a much larger storage of data in its raw form. There are no restrictions as to what kind of data you could store.
You can store structured data, meaning data which has columns and rows and could be easily understood and analyzed if needed, then we have unstructured data this includes audio and video files, there is a lot more to be done to it before it is stored in the database and analyzed, and lastly we have semi structured data such as HTML code or logs which have specific tags for each piece of information.

Data Warehouse is much like a library. Everything is organized, indexed, and sorted into different groups of tables; we call these groups data marts, and each data mart contains data for a specific business or purpose.
For example, Finance Data Mart contains financial data, which is highly restricted, and only a handful of people would have access to it because it is easy to misunderstand the data since it has not been cleaned yet.

When it comes to data warehouses, depending on the role, multiple people can have access to it, and the data is much trustworthy.
