They need to move the game preserve up the coast a few miles, and take over the area as a public right of way. Or, SpaceX needs to build their permanent launch and factory site north to where it's all private land and no federal land. Which, also, it's illegal for the federal government to own land outside of Washington DC, but this practice has yet to be challenged in any meaningful way in federal court.

There were those ranchers who had the land lease for generations some years back between their family and the federal government for cattle grazing, and someone in the federal government wanted to sell that land to a private corporation, thus breaking the lease. The ranchers basically did a sit-in protest which left 5 of them dead and another half dozen never seen from again. A couple of them went to trial and received maximum sentences and also disappeared. Moral of the story: don't cross Pelosi.
