Mike Graham and Political Commentator Jason Reed discuss the claim that calling some animals exotic is 'problematic'.

British Small Animal Veterinary Association has claimed that calling lizards, tortoises and snakes exotic is 'problematic' because it implies they are not native to an area.

Instead pet owners should call them 'non-traditional companion animals', the group says.

‘Feed two birds with one scone’ doesn’t even suggest to me the same concept as ‘kill two birds with one stone’. The former is about splitting the power of a resource to do two actions & the original is about maximising the power a resource to do two jobs. Otherwise it would be ‘kill two birds with a stone split into two halves’.

Well, I'm an old granny now, but when I came to this country from Colombia I was very young and rather lovely they said....some used to say I was exotic, and to me it was a compliment, I was never common....I was exotic!

I suppose calling them 'barking mad' would be demining so is ''mentally hilarious' ok?
