NCAA 2001 had create a team and all the Div 1AA teams (FCS). You could even play a season as those teams in some of their conferences. It also had a playoff option if you didn’t want to play in the bowls.

Ncaa games always felt like they had more heart put into them than madden. I could be biased bc im much more of a cfb fan than nfl but from all my experiences playing these games over the years ncaa always was more fun

Brought back so many memories. NCAA football 2002 was the first NCAA game I ever played, and believe it or not, I still have it to this day. NCAA 06 is my favorite football game of all time.

In NCAA 2001, RB #21 for the Hurricanes was actually half back James Jackson. McGahee wore #2 and didn't enter the Canes picture until 2002.

NCAA 99 - 2001 we're pretty much the best years ever made for college football games. Then there was '06, '10, '13, and '14.

Another cool less known feature that the older games had; is if you played an exhibition game on a holiday like thanksgiving, christmas, New Year's, the announcers would recognize it and say happy thanksgiving, merry christmas, happy New Year everyone.

Man, it's crazy. At one point in my life I had every single copy of NCAA Football. NCAA 06' was my favorite. The pulsating impact player feature was pretty awesome. Loved the soundtrack.
