Ken Kaneki & Guts went threw no amount of pain no man should go through. It’s hard to compare these characters as well from two very different type of worlds. I loved both Berserk & Tokyo Ghoul/re’s manga. Just like I said very hard to compare these lovely pieces of art when both terrible tortures where so different. Nice edit though 🌹

People who say Guts went through less than Kaneki hasn’t read Berserk. people who say Kaneki went through less than Guts hasn’t read Tokyo Ghoul. I love them both equally. Writing wise I think Guts takes it though. It isn’t a competition for who went through more. It’s about development, relatability, goals, personality, authenticity. It’s not a contest of who went through more, who is more powerful, who is more edgy that makes a character. The thing is most and close to NO people can relate to these two to understand what they went through. Guts and Kaneki have actually gone through the same severity of things. The only thing is how they handled it.

Guts kept picking himself up time after time

Kaneki gained so much trauma that he changed completely

I think Guts is better in writing because how true he is to his character.

Kaneki is amazing nonetheless. Love both series

Kaneki is literally your average dark themed series protagonist. Bro is the embodiment of emo, though justified, but he's NOT unique. TOKYO GHOUL IS OVERRATED. These emo fans of Tokyo Ghoul are declaring the series as the best in fiction, which is hilarious to see.
