I am an old woman now but my ballet days I use to save all my old pointe shoes, too they are so expensive its something i couldnt afford not to do Lovely, , , Happy Dancing❤

I still have the last pair of pointe shoes I wore in high school! I was never going to be a professional, but I am so proud that I went on pointe, especially as a 6’1” girl!!

They would be lovely in display boxes, some call them shadow boxes but its a deep frame you can put items in to display them. You can put backgrounds of paper, card or fabric similar to your outfit would look pretty

Omg did I hear Giselle... I remember 37 years ago in Scarborough, ENGLAND when my god father took me to the ballet to watch Giselle. It will always be my favourite ❤ I was only 10 and I cried at the end...

Loved hearing about your beautiful memories ❤ it might be nice to put some (or all of them) in display cases or have a special area dedicated to them. I take pictures of things that hold special memories like that, too, and keep them in an album. All things wear out eventually, but pictures can last forever.

Put them on display some day! They are such precious memories. I only kept 2 pairs; my very first pointe shoes and my only lead role - Coppeliá. Got really injured less than a month after and had to quit.
