Not sure if already mentioned, but to fix the rating bug on Roberts during position change section of offseason change him to any other position and then immediately change him back to HB. He will then be changed back to an elusive back and his ratings will be fixed.

Great game against Boise!!! Malachi their QB is an Elite Scrambler development player too. With Boise State being my team I was very enjoyable to watch and Boise always puts up a dog fight or blows out teams. They're still rebuilding they're own program as well. Like I said GREAT game!! I also told one of my friends to come watch you amd hes excited to watch this game, hes a HUGE Boise State fan as well lol. P.S. Im not even mad you beat them lol just enjoyed watching.

Im also in Season 2 with App State. We finished 8-5 our first season and currently we're 7-1 in 2025.We won the Cure Bowl in Orlando against Akron. We beat Old Dominion and gave them their first loss and were on an absolute roll losing only 1 game today. We lost Joey Aguilar.I miss him but we have interest from QB's that are 3-4 star gems in the recruiting.Getting better at the recruiting and now understand using up as many hours as we can for the players that we want.I also understand now the deal breaker much better. Our defence was 79 and now its 84.We also played Boise but it was an away game.I chose the yellow alternate jerseys and the contrast with the blue grass was awesome. That scramble was awesome.I got alot of rushing touchdowns with Aguilar like that in my first season.Defence was definitely an issue the first season and im relieved that our numbers are better now.

So I went through 4 seasons with South Alabama. Took a break from that after 3 championships. Now I'm playing on Heisman with Miss State 3-2, AZ 4-0, Jax State 4-0, and Akron 4-1. Year 1. M State had no business on the field with Texas, and trying to play at the horse shoe with Akron was painful. Trying to see what coordinators can get their dream jobs.

Last tip and thing I do that helps. Prior to starting recruiting, I get out a pen and paper. I go through my roster and figure out exactly what positions I need to recruit, and then rank them in importance. I am aiming for long term balance at each position so that my roster is always strong at every position.

Great game, had it all, big plays, flips into the end zone, glitchy animations, miss chip shots ( thank god for that ), 2pt play that some how worked perfectly 👍, awesome comeback

I’m in the 2026 season with App State and I saw the same thing you did in 2025, it was a lot worse than I expected. I also did a conference redesign turning the American into the elite G5 conference having cherry picked the top G5s into it, and that’s made it harder.

One thing I did was switch Makai Jackson (15) from WR to TE. He’s been a fantastic vertical threat TE for me. I run a playbook that’s a mashup of the wide veer and shoot and the UNLV go go duo sets. A lot of TE usage and he has thrived.

Also, as an App fan, this worries me for next season IRL. We’ve struggled some this year but this game is showing how bare the cupboard may be next year.

Story idea: Git Gud - Tom Brady recently described his experience learning the QB position at Michigan. From 7th string to 3rd to Starting. Learing the system in practice against opposing defense. Tom was a 6th rd pick. How did he ... Git Gud. Then we do Darnold, Mayfiled, Carr, Geno, Terrell Davis, Mike Anderson, Jamaal Lewis...

Also IMO as a small school you should get all your recruiting tiers up to level 3 so you can put 65 hours into everyone, only way to complete with larger schools. Then like previously mentioned and you are now doing, go all in on everyone you are targeting first, and only add new players to board when someone commits and go all in on them. And don't over recruit, only replace seniors, otherwise you will be cutting good players. Only other tip is don't sleep on athletes. Physical athletes make great safeties. Agile athletes make great defensive linemen. Usually lots of athletes still with zero offers towards end of season.

Any 4 star Oline men out there still open to recruit? maybe look at them to help the young QB have time in the pocket and let ur playmakers get open, time is a young QB best friend! just look at the the Bears and panthers in the NFL, ps who’s ur favourite NFL team??

And very last thing, lol. The reason you don't want to recruit busts even if they have good scouted attributes is that their potential (caps) will be very bad. Likewise gems will have good caps. Give me a 3 star gem over a 4 star bust any day...they will end up better players.
