I just looked through the website and it says that a “epic driving effects pack” is included in the pre-order. Guys, it looks like the driving effects are cosmetic and can be applied through the garage. So anyone who doesn’t like the driving effects won’t have to use them 😮

i hope this will be a combination of all the black box era games, mainly from underground to prostreet. Seems like that will be the case, grittiness from underground, police from most wanted, territory control from carbon and progression and other vibes from prostreet. POG

The animations when driving reminds me soooo so much of SSX Tour if anyone remembers when SSX decided to make it more punk themed. I love this concept and the idea of animated characters instead of trying to perfect realistic characters with a wannabe serious storyline. I can get down with this direction of NFS and can’t wait for more details.

I really hope we have hardcore tuning mechanics from Shift 2 and Underground 2. Gearing, suspension, ECU, boost, Nos power, etc because the looks are very nice here.

With the customization shown, I just hope that they brought back the 'fake' parts (bumpers, side skirts, spoilers, roof scoops, hoods, headlights, taillights, rims, and body kits) back from the underground, underground 2, mw2005, and carbon games.

I just hope they don't drop muscle cars completely. I know tuners is the most popular car type in the real life car community (along with drift events) but it's good to have an equal amount of both😅

THANKS CRITERION, NFS just reborn, they saved it, it looks incredible!
I'm so hype, can't wait to see more. The mix between anime effects/realistic is perfect, the cars and livery are awesome, Criterion nailed it: seems like NFS finally got a new fresh identity and that's a great news, I was really scared about what NFS would be in the future.. now I'm sure it's gonna be good! Can't wait for the next trailers (the vibes bring me some NFSU/NFSU2 childhood memories <3).

Also I love the transparency Criterion gives us with all these informations, this is a cool thing for the community: you kinda know what to expect, but they're still able to hype us so much, good work!
About the cars list, I dunno why but I'm pretty sure they will add more in the future, would be awesome tho (I saw the RX8 and the Z Prototype, it's already a banger).

Some extras I’ve picked up on so far. Japanese license plates, green brake calipers, green headlight tint, colored window tint. The Fast and Furious Eclipse body kit (by Robocar) is in the game says DomDub. Police car liveries are almost identical to Chicago PD.
