I finished mgs 3 over 20 times 16 times on ps 2 back then 3 times on xbox 360/xbox series x and 2 times on ps 3 and soon another 10 times in the remake the only game i played so much crazy when i think about it. Also played the other ones alot of times lol mgs ia the only series i played so many times through and through without getting bored. Its just a masterclass in story telling especially when you see the connections to the real world and history war and politics.

I can't help but compare this to the Silent Hill 2 remake. One is an ultra-faithful remake that has the same level design, character designs, cutscenes, and mechanics. It's clearly made by a team that loves the original. The other, we'll see if it's actually good but it doesn't look like a faithful remake in many ways and seems to be taking a lot of creative liberties from the original.

I hope all the dialogue was redone with original voice case. I really don't want another case like XIII remake, where they had such a limited budget that they just used the original PS2 audio files for the ps4/ps5 remake. 😅
