This is beech ridge motor speedway in Scarborough Maine. It was unfortunately sold and will be turned into high end housing developments. The speedway was being pushed to be removed due to the noise because wealthy, out of state people did not like the noise and the place is becoming gentrified. The owners sold the place because property taxes were becoming too costly for the owners to pay. The speedway has created many traditions and it is sad to see it go. Hell I learned how to drive stick in the parking lot with my friend and I remember drifting in the parking lot during snowstorms. Lots of fond memories of that place.

Funny to see that most people had very little mechanic knowledge to realize what in needs to be able to run on two wheels, first and most important you need a totally locked differential and also super hard tires and suspension or not suspension movement at all, with that you can start practicing

First things first what a hell of a place to be able to go enjoy! I wish somebody in my town had taken the time to have such a fun place for young people and old people to have fun in such a wholesome and visceral way. So proud of America for that. Despite our struggles small towns like this can somehow make a YouTube channel and turn a profit as well as bring all these people together and show the world that there’s hope. And there’s fun to be had in this beautiful land we live.
