That last goal was painful to see. Both Goalies played amazingly, Red Wings goalie got peppered left to right while the Canes goalie saved some very high quality shots that would have gotten through a lot of goalies. Good game, sad it didn't enter OT

I'm having trouble understanding the 'gotta have 1st place' mentality of Rod and the Canes announcers. Is it worth killing yourself and exhausting every player to play the Islanders or whoever in round 1?? NO ROUND of playoffs is going to be easy. Learn from the Lightning and ease into the playoffs. 3 Finals in a row prove that point. First place meant squat. Road wins are commonplace in the playoffs IF your team is good. I believe the Canes are GOOD even without the two injured star players. These remaining regular season games mean absolutely nothing.
