Do You REALLY Have To Change Your Oil Every 3,000 Miles?

Mechanics say one thing and your car's manual probably says something different. So do you actually need to change it every 3,000 miles?

Facts. Im at 13, 000 and engine still purrs at 260k. I recommend every 7, 000 to 15, 000 in my opinion. Car? 2012 Nissan Altima. Engine 2.5s sludge free! Ridesharing! But do use engine detergents/fuel cleaners and change gasket and header when needed!

Of course car manufacturers say change oil at every 7500 miles 🤣. They want you to buy a new car once your engine locks up .
