It used to be nice doing this when you got cash, now it's a bit of a faff but we invoice the recycle centre +VAT so we actually get more for it now than we did previously.

In this enery crisis, I recomend burning the plastic off with a few drinks with friends. Takes about 8 hrs of bonfire and drinking, a few black eyes and negotiation for 2 tonnes of bright. Lead is so much easier exept the ladders can't take the weight if your to gready.
