Now she'll probably go into a depression and all the adults around her will ignore her as they focus on other skaters. They have caused devastation in this girl's life.

To say Olympic Women's Figure Skating needs reform is an understatement. Otherwise, we'll be seeing only 15-17 year-olds competing. By 18-20, they'll be retired due to injuries and an inability to do quads.

Just watched this final performance. How horrible for this child. Her coach yelling at her after she was affected by the pressure etc? This is child abuse! Even the gold medalist from the same team was ignored. This is terrible all around, for children, really

I feel so damn sorry for this poor kid. The untrustworthy adults around her have just ruined her. It's disgraceful what they've done to this child. Were it up to me, they'd all do jail time.

No Emphathy on the Russian team, just sad. Those girls just needed a hug and nobody was there

No child should be put under so much pressure and under the lens of the world. They need to raise the age to adulthood for all athletes in both summer and winter Olympics. I remember seeing 12 and 13 years old in summer. Anyway, wishing her the best and hope she’s able to get rid of the toxic people around her and come back next time.

Saddest thing ever! A 15 year old child being used and abused, not even old enough to question what the so called adults were dictating to her. Her parents didn't protect her, the IOC didn't protect her, and none of them cared. Sometimes I think people forget that these are literally kids thrusted into situations way above their age bracket.

We all witnessed child abuse right before our eyes today. Have nothing but anger for her abusers.

Thomas Bach's remarks are the pinnacle of hypocrisy.
In this season, Kamila's doping test results were clean at four international competitions,
but only the test for the Russian national competition showed polluted result.
Therefore, this case required a thorough investigation and verification, but there was not enough time.

As CAS rejected IOC's indictment to ban Kamila's participation in individual competition,
the IOC should have announced that IOC would normally award medals for the results of the game,
but that medal and record could be deprived if Kamila did intentional doping.

The IOC's shocking announcement "If Kamila stands on podium, medal award ceremony would be canceled" must have acted as tons of pressure on Kamila,
And this IOC's Threat made her step down from the podium by herself.
As a result, the IOC brutally threatened a young girl under the age of 16 to take the bronze medal from Russia and give it to Japan.

Furthermore this ultimately made it impossible to watch Kamila's performance in full of heavenly and mysterious beauty, which all figure fans around the world wanted to see.
The IOC should take the greatest responsibility for this!

A 15 year old doesn't just come up with a drug combination for improving proformance. She had adult providing this to her. I place all guilt on the adults that abused her by giving her these drugs.

This breaks my heart. Adults should have protected her from this chaos. How could anyone put this pressure on a 15year old and expect her to preform. Shame on you!!!

Norah, This baby super star finished fourth and was better than the two American women and better than other 16 women. The first American woman finished number 10 and the second finished number 16. Kamila is just a kid and the US Media including the CBS has been telling lies on her. I felt sorry about her because the Media got into her head. This story came against her after she got the gold by landslide. If she had drug after she took the test on December of last year, they should have not included her in the Olympics. It is all Politics

Valieva was told "take one for the team".

She felt the pressure, it's heartbreaking for a 15 year old. She can easily do it, emotionally devastated.
