From this perspective, it feels to me like I'm there in person. Say, what you will about the internet and social media but without it we could not witness so much in real time. The internet and social media are tools that can be used for good or to harm. It's a choice.

When the fight clip cane on, I only thought if that was the drinking game and that annoying seem like 9 straight min of those ppl saying fight clips .... Anyone would get so drunk.
But seriously. It was so extended like how sad is your campaign manager when he says " ok we're going to nitpick and play a (example) maybe 2 min total to get the hint and guy is like "yeah go ahead and extend that 10mins" 😂😂

40:46 “You can’t incite what was already going to happen”

One could make an argument that he incited it by letting it happen.

If it were true that no matter what, there was going to be a riot on January 6th, then why did trump let the riot happen? On several occasions before then, trump explicitly stated that there was going to be a rally on January 6th. Even if he did not incite any violence whatsoever before rally, he still heavily encouraged his supporters to be there. Did he know that the protesters were going to be violent? Not necessarily. However, he still bears the responsibility for sending them. Even if trump explicitly said to be peaceful multiple times in the days leading up to the rally, and his supporters were still violent, it was ultimately him who still sent them. Granted I think they would likely have been peaceful if trump had promoted being peaceful a lot more, but he did not do that.

So he incited the violence by letting the rally happen in the first place, because there was going to be violence no matter what, unless trump actively told his supporters to be peaceful beforehand, which he did not do.

I am not usually one in favour of *"whataboutism"*
But these comparisons between the words and rhetoric of the two main US partys...
I think this is a golden opportunity for EVERYONE to take stock and do better going forward.
