They are forgetting the most important thing, if most people are poor and broke, how are they going to purchase these company's products ?? They aren't going to purchase them, so these people will go out of business themselves .

There’s nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.

Matrix was right... 90s is the peak of society. The future ahead is bleak

As many have stated in their comments, economies are driven by consumption. If everyone is poor with exception of the few already rich, then their wealth will be stagnant and at some point irrelevant.

An economy is NO good without consumers.

What gives me a laugh is that all of these Billionaires think they'll be in charge or even have bank accounts after AGI. LOL

Do you also feel that life itself has become more difficult because of situations such as those described in the video?
Now ambition, staying at work after hours or trying your best to live with dignity no longer matter. Now it is a daily struggle to have enough money to eat, pay bills or buy medicines. It's getting worse.

So I am not any kind of educated thinker or anything. But I spend a lot of time facilitating group therapy for people who struggle with substance use disorder who are homeless, and I think the most original thought I've ever come up with is the idea that some of us recovered because we found something that we loved more than we loved dope or the needle. We ended up in a situation where we had to choose between it and someone we loved, and we discovered we loved that person more. Then others saw that, and tried to search out something that they could love more than dope, and tried to recreate the idea on purpose by really pouring their time and attention into whatever it was they could find, and it seemed to work for them as well.

I dunno if that counts as an entirely original thought, but I always believed it was. The fact that I may never have actually had an original thought is a humbling thing to consider I suppose. Most of what we believe to be our own thoughts, started as someone else's idea

So what you’re saying is during a depression and chaos people were able to exploit other people better than others

Honestly, AI will probably replace almost every human job. But when it does, Capitalism just ends. Capitalism is based on value generated by human service to support human society. Workers produce items or services, and those same workers prodice items or services. If there are no workers to consume, the services and items have no value, and thus the companies thay create or run those services cant make any money.
Also, AI isn't quite dangerous. Because AI currently isn't intelligent. It does what its made to do. But it has no intent, and it doesnt apply meaning to what it does. Restrictions on AI aren't to make it not rebel, it's just to tell it what not to do so it won't do it.

As a blue collar tradesman, I'm not to worried yet. Now those "office workers" might have something to worry about....

We just going to ignore the fact that Bro bought A WHOLE DAMN FACTORY for 2000$?! Inflation really is hitting bad

The US dollar is losing value due to inflation, while other currencies are gaining strength, creating uncertainty. Nonetheless, many people remain confident in the Dollar's perceived safety. I'm concerned that my 420K retirement funds may lose value, therefore I'm looking for other financial stability.

It doesn’t matter. If they stop people from working then the people won’t be able to buy their products so they will have to find ways to put the people to work so they can buy their products.

Yeah, this is gonna happen. It's already happened multiple times throughout human history.

It's like Marceline once said "Everything repeats over and over again. Nobody learns anything Because nobody lives long enough to see the pattern. I guess."

Yes, I'm calling humanity a bunch of genuine big0ted our words. We have knowledge and information in the palm of our hands, and yet we use it to squabble over meaningless things like politics and religion. We have the knowledge to make right decisions. As often if you look into something, we've experienced it before. Many areas managed to entirely because they did this one cool trick. But I guess that requires looking into books or searching. We're having any level of journalistic and scientific integrity, which nobody has anymore. In other words, humanity is a joke. A bad one like sour and rancid milk. Drink it up, humanity, because that's all we'll have for the next little while.
