Complete misunderstanding of the blue cruise update. The cars have always been able to change lanes after being asked to do so by turning on the turn indicator.

This adds car-initiated lane changes. And they are saying on a typical drive, your car will pass people 45% of the time where you would have tried to pass on your own.
