That's interesting that you can tell a pharmacist your symptoms and they'll give you something. Here in the US they basically just give what the doctor tells them to give you, but you have to see the doctor first.

To anyone saying you can't do this in the US, you absolutely can, even at a CVS or Walgreens. Pharmacists aren't just random people off the street. They receive extensive training and know a ton about healthcare and medication. Give it a try and they'l help you find what you need.

Oh, so you can go in to a pharmacy and get over the counter medicines this way... that's very different! I wonder if my Korean will be good enough to get anything done though, even if it's much easier than going to a doctor LOL!
