In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen we know that curses manifest thanks to the negative emotions of humans, and while Megumi did say that there’s no way for Sukuna to manifest again with only 1 of his fingers left, I don’t completely buy it to be honest. The Ending of the series without the events of the Merger have left a bad taste in some people’s mouths, making them feel like Sukuna had a really anti-climatic ending, however with a few chapters left and ONE mysterious Statement by him, there’s actually still hope that he might return. You see in the final moments when his remains were burning away in Yuji’s hands, he FINALLY acknowledges Yuji Itadori, but he also tells Yuji not to underestimate Sukuna, because he is a curse afterall. Now this has many people speculating that somehow, someway, Sukuna IS going to poke his head again in the future any maybe even before these next 3 chapters wrap themselves up, providing a reason for Gege to maybe wrap up a few of the plot points we haven’t seen completely discovered so far, or atleast making Kenjaku not seem like the worst villain in all of Shonen Jump History after his famous final words that his will shall be passed on to a guy that went on to basically completely ignore that will. I don’t know what do you guys think about the idea that Sukuna will be back, with 3 chapters do you think it matters, or do you think this is ACTUALLY set up for Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2?

Counter point. Kenjaku kind of deserves to be remembered as a lame villain for passing on his will to another villain he knows full well doesn’t give two craps about anyone but himself. Frankly I think it’s poetic (especially for a series like JJK) that Kenjaku spends all this time planning his own immortality only to be forgotten by history.

Sukuna can't come back because he was killed by jujutsu means, and his last finger isn't strong enough to keep his soul together, and even if it was, 1 finger Sukuna is not strong enough to take current Yuji.

And there's literally NOT a logical way to bring him back within those 3 remaining chapters. I swear Sukuna's death is like Gojo's where everyone keep coping that its not over when it clearly is, but its 10 times worse since it makes EVEN LESS sense.

His last comment to Yuji was to remind him that he won't accept Yuji's mercy and he prefers to die rather than playing friends with him.
