The RAREST Nintendo Wii U Game -- The Holy Grail Explained!

This quick video is a re-cap about the Wii U Darksiders II Death Lives slipcover release. This had a limited retail print in Mexico alone with the artwork chosen from a Wepik contest. Over 200 illustrations were entered.

The contest webpage no longer exists, making information a bit harder to obtain. Before it all gets washed away in the internet abyss, enjoy what information I could find!

This video focuses ONLY on the slipcover release and its origin, nothing about the gameplay itself. There is also a Russia T-Shirt big box release for Darksiders II over in the PAL region which is also quite valuable and hard to come by.

Today I just bought a copy for 15 bucks without knowing what it was and only because it caught my attention that it had a different art on the cover, I find it incredible how little information there is about it and how much this edition is ignored Among Wii U collectors, I just watched around 20 videos from different YouTubers and none of them even mistakenly mentioned the existence of this variant. You are the first one I see that talks about this variant

Do you know what game has the lowest printing in general though? I'm thinking maybe Finding Teddy 2 and Shmup Collection since there's only 3000 copies each.

I remember searching him about 3 or 4 years ago trying to get a hold of them I found some art showcase almost like forum he showcased all his work in and you could leave comments there was two or three comments and of course one of them somebody already beat me hey do you know where I can get one of them slipcovers at man? I'm a big fan of your work LOL thought it was awful on that 2 back-to-back on eBay both from Canada and retro gamer I think something was the seller the Ocarina link as a peck
