What do you think of the iPhone 14 Pro (and its new features)?

Was considering 14 Pro Max 256gb to get ProRes 4K support to try it out but DAMN, almost 1600 EUR is ridiculous amount for a phone. When phones were reaching that "magic" barrier of 1000 EUR it was already getting funky. But this just does not make sense anymore.

Your videos have such a fun and calming vibe that I always look forward to them. Keep on making great content without worrying about being the first to publish, e.g. the iPhone review. Creating content with love like this makes me always want to watch your videos regardless of when they are uploaded. Kinda reminds me of that one Spongebob episode where he was competing against Neptune to make the best hamburgers. Neptune made a lot that all tasted bad, whereas Spongebob made one really nice burger ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

On Samsung, you can view notification details with the always on display. It’s been that way forever. Go to settings, Lock Screen, then notifications. Click the notifications button and switch to details. There are other features with the always on display as well.

It's great, but I will still stick to my iPhone 12 Pro. It's still very usable and the improvements of the iPhone 14 Pro isn't worth getting a new phone for now. The processor would probably be the biggest upgrade for me because I don't take too many photos, need a brighter screen in sunlight, and the dynamic island isn't that big of a reason to upgrade.

If you came from a iPhone 11 Pro or older though, the upgrades would be worth it in my opinion (especially 5G).

The Dynamic Island seems like a cool idea but I still prefer the hole punch camera of my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Ella's unboxings and reviews are always the best.

I have the 13 pro max from 11 pro max (what I gave to my son) and I am very happy with it. It also runs with ios16 so the main difference is only this dynamic island, which is not that big of a deal to me 💁‍♀
I'm happy with my 13 pro max for a couple of years! ❤

Thank you so much for showing a front facing camera comparison. I think the autofocus addition was a bit overhyped this year. The S22 resolves skin tones a lot better—maybe Android devices in general tend to do so lately. Also, I saw you were listening to LE SSERAFIM, neat!

Did you forget that in Android you can change the music wherever you are just by pulling down notification panel? It's the feature from 10 years ago.
And NO you don't need to go back to the home screen widget to do that.
And that Always On Display with a dim wallpaper, i would like to see you turn that on and see the battery life versus the one that the always on Display is off, i bet its a battery drainer especially it shows wallpaper too

I've watched so many videos of the 14 Pro, but you've still somehow managed to point out things about it that the other videos missed, like the always on display not being customizable but also turning off when the phone is shut down

What's the point of the iPhone 14 Pro and Ppro Max is always on display? You can literally dim the display on any iPhone and set it so it never turns off and have the same exact experience as the new always display. iOS 16 definition of have a feature that makes it so it's different in the lock screen.
