Funny you should say "the harmonies sound like one voice", they are. Brad Delp is the source of every voice you hear on this album. Tom Scholz recorded and engineered this entire album in his basement. He played evry instrument except drums. Jim matea was the drummer. Brad did all the vocals, including those paint peeling high harmonies. They put a band together after Epic gave them a record deal. This album/band singlehandedly saved rock from death by disco, and is IMHO the most sonically perfect album ever put to vinyl! RIP Brad Delp, you deserved more recognition than you were given.❤

At this point in the 70s it seems everything came together with bands like Boston, Foreigner, Aerosmith, Heart, Eagles, Styx, Kansas, Frampton, Queen, Kiss, Foghat, Bob Seger having paid their dues in the early 70s finally got it going and slapped us all the way to 2024💥💥💥Great to be alive when that was happening!!!

I was fortunate enough to have seen BOSTON 3 times, awesome shows, just them, no opening act --- just almost 3 hours of pure BOSTON. In fact, at one show, they played 30 of their total 36 song catalog for the time.

Oh my gosh. This is my favorite album. I was 13 in 1977. I would go clean my brother's house. I would put this album on. And, the volume was turned up. Now, I am fixing to be 60 years old in a couple weeks. I still love to clean my house with the same album. Still turn volume up. This reaction and hearing this song. Brought back so many memories.
