13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

What is Contrition Counseling?
Contrition Counseling directs the viewer to Bible-based ministries, desiring to edify the Kingdom to:
† Study Biblical Scripture
Put yourself under the authority that the Holy Bible is true. If something doesn’t make sense, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
† Learn Who God Is
Study the Character and Attributes of the Godhead, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. When you start thinking of God differently than what the gospel says, then renew your mind again with scripture.
† Filter Everything Through the Bible
Circumstances happen. We must attempt to react Biblically. If we want God’s blessings, then our intent needs to honor God. Rely on the type of fear that causes you to run to God, not away. Don't conform your thinking, or lifestyle to the patterns of this world.
† Get In Touch With Your Thought-Life
Test each thought for Righteous, or Unrighteous Roots. Refuse to allow Unrighteous thinking into your heart. Protecting your Heart-Life will protect you from your Action-Life.
What is Contrition?
Contrition
1. Sincere remorse for wrongdoing; repentance.
2. Brokenness of spirit for having given offense; deep sorrow for sin; sincere penitence.
A central concept in much of Christianity, contrition is regarded as the first step, through Christ, towards reconciliation with God. Contrition is present when a human spirit stops justifying its wrong choices. A contrite heart offers no excuses and shifts no blame. It fully agrees with God about how wicked it is. Knowing that it deserves nothing but righteous wrath, a contrite heart throws itself upon the mercy of God (Isaiah 66:2; Psalm 41:4; Psalm 51:17).
How do we Glorify God ☝🏻👑?
• Our minds should seek the truths of God. So thwart the lies of the adversary.
• Our eyes should view His good works. So be mindful of what you watch and read.
• Our ears should hear what glorifies Him. So stop listening to music, people, or news that ignores His message.
• Our mouths should speak of the goodness of God. So your mouth speaks what your heart is full of. Stop speaking, broke, busted, and disgusted.
• Our bodies should perform deeds that exemplify His word. Serving others serves Him. Bless those who cannot repay you.
• Work on your thought-life to guard your heart-life, and your action-life will follow.
