Hi everybody and welcome to TheNewArabic channel, this is the first video of our new Arabic words and phrases series that I've made for people just like you who wants to learn new words and phrases in Arabic languages.

If you're not subscribed yet to our channel make sure to do it right now to keep up to date whenever we add new video. Let's go to learn some new words and phrases.

So today's first word is "Hello" we're going to learn how to say it in Arabic.
to say Hello in Arabic it's (Marhaban) مرحبا .

And as you can see on the left side this is the word in English, and on the middle this is the pronunciation of the word, I've typed this text here as a pronunciation to make it easy for you to pronunce the word correctly. And on the right side this is the word in Arabic.
Now listen carfuly to the pronuciation of the مرحبا word at : 1:12 This is how to say Hello in Arabic.

Let's go to the next word, "Good Morning" in Arabic it's (Sabaho alkhair) صباح الخير.

The next word is "Good evening" (Masao alkhair) مساء الخير.

The next word is (Good Night) You may notice that I've typed Good night Three times because in Arabic we have the Good Night form for masculine singular.
So if you're talking to your friend, your dad, or whatever a man or boy that you're talking to and you want to say Good Night for him you wanna say: تصبحُ على خير. This is for masculine singular. "Tosbih ala khair".

And if you want to say Good night for a woman or girl, for example you want to say good night for your mom, your girlfriend or whatever girl or woman that you're talking to, you wanna say: تصبحين على خير.

And the third form is plural from, and if you're with a bunch of people, for example your friends or your parents and you just want to go to sleep or you want to tell them good night (Tosbihuna ala khair) تصبحون على خير.

Now listen carefully to the pronunciation of the three forms of saying Good Night in Arabic at : 3:26

Now let's go to the next word. (Welcome) If you want to say welcome in Arabic you wanna say: "Ahlan" أهلا.

I just want to say that some people in Arabic uses this أهلا as a Hi in English, someone could come to you and say أهلا but he mean Hi or Hello. So we use both words أهلا and مرحبا to say Hi in Arabic. We use أهلا as well if we want to say Welcome in Arabic.
That's it for today's lesson, hope you like this video, Again if you're not subscribed yet to our channel make sure to subscribe in order to keep up to date when there are new Arabic lessons. Thank you for watching
