R6mkii with RF 24-70 f28 and rf70-200 f4 for portrait/vid and traveling. I have an R6 as a second shooter. I do have the RF 50 f1.8 for Portrait and RF 16 f2.8 for wide angle as they are both really small and decent enough, for the price. Anyway, you're killing it and I'm always looking forward to see your new vids. Your wife is a great model as well

Great video! Love my brevite bag. Can pack a surprisingly good amount of gear for travel, and quite comfortable also.

My main setup is the R5 and 28-70mm f/2. The lens replaces a few primes for me, but I have a few that go wider and a few longer. I use an EOS R as a backup - a seriously underrated camera as most reviews are from when it first launched, before firmware updates gave it a lot more features. My only regret with the R5 is that I didn't get it sooner.

OMG. You got everything. I was kind of sad when you mentioned that your spare camera is my main camera. 😃😃

Great video. I’m still getting my lens line together, but for travel I’m using the 24-240mm. I also have the 24-105 f4.

I’m loving your videos dude, top quality 🔥 my travel setup is R5 & R (R for my girlfriend) with RF 15-35, 50mm 1.2, and 70-200 f4!

hi James
great video once again, thank you !
since I bought the 85 1.2 a little over a month ago, the kind of images I produce has started to shift quite significantly.
it stays on my camera most of the time, even for situations where it's not supposed to shine ( sports, landscape ).
not my first fixed focal lens, but it's absolutely the first of this caliber.
I'm starting to get why you love your 50 mm so much

My wife and me are outdoor and wildlife lovers and because of this our rucksack looks quite different: R5 and R6, RF 100L, 70-200L, 100-500L and RF800…. Of course we also have more wide angle primes but those are sitting in the shelf most of the time…😊

Very good setup, I’m thinking about getting my first full frame camera and I’m looking at the R6 mark ii. I’m gathering ideas on what lenses to buy next, so thanks for your review. 👌🏼

I saw a few clips of Sheffield city centre. 😁

I’m personally using a Nikon Z9 with a Z6 II as a second body (looking to upgrade that to the Z8). The Z9 has been a powerhouse for both photo and video.

Currently use the Z 50mm f1.2 S, Z 70-200mm f2.8 S and the Z 24-120mm f4 S. The latter covers me for travel, but I mostly use my iPhone. 😉

Looking to pick up the Z 35mm f1.2 S when that is released.

Great video as always, James. Regarding the RF 35 1.8, I unfortunately have not had the same experience. I sold it and was glad that I did. Maybe it was me, but I found that on my old EOS R it didn’t work well at all, especially with the amount of grain in my photos

Damn .. there is about £15, 000.00 you are carrying in that bag, mate. How sharp is the 24-70 compared to the 85 or 50? Is there much difference? Because I currently have the RF 35mm 1.8 for my R6 MKII at the moment and an EF F4 16-35mm. With the 85 or 50, I am not sure if whether they have IS, if they do not have IS, does that seem to be any kind of trouble for you in terms of capturing shots? The 24-70 does have IS and I think that would be cost-effective, due to its versatility, but compared to the 50mm and 85mm, how sharp is it comapred to those two?

It's still surprising to me that you choose the canon rf 24m- 70m f2.8 over the rf 28m-70m f2.0. Are you saying that the 24m-70m is a better lens than the 2.0? I thought the 28m-70m was sharper.

Sweet setup. I'm almost similar but with Sony : Sony A7iii + Sony A9, 35mm f1.4 GM, 50mm f1.2 GM, 70-200mm f2.8 GM II.
