YouTube brings live streaming to its mobile apps (CNET Update)

The feature will be baked into the YouTube app, but it still faces stiff competition from Facebook which announced new live streaming features.

I hope they make it so you can shoot video in landscape (horizontal) mode so it can be watched PROPERLY on a normal TV or computer monitor. Vertical video is so POINTLESS!

Unlike Facebook live YouTube live doesn't work on mobile. Tried YouTube Live using wifi 2.4ghz and 5ghz and it kept crashing after a few seconds.
