'Chickens come home to roost': U.S-trained Afghan commandos join Putin's war in Ukraine

Afghan special forces soldiers who fought alongside American troops and then fled to Iran after America's chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan are now being recruited by the Russian military to fight in Ukraine. A report on The Associated Press cited three former Afghan generals who said that the soldiers 'don't want to fight' but have no choice as they fear they could be 'killed' by the Taliban if they return to their homeland. U.S worries that the recruited soldiers could give up tactical U.S information.
