Don't remove the hub nut. Pull the hub with the drive shaft attached by removing 3 hub bolts. Leave the 3 hub bolts out about a 1/2 inch, start the truck and turn the steering left and right. The bolts will hit the frame and pop the hub out. The power of hydraulics. Your welcome.

When installing the new ball joints, start with the top and you can flip the press so the threaded shaft runs down through lower ball joint hole, saves alot of time/aggravation and you dont need to jerry rig the cups/spacers or need a second person to get it set up.

I wish mine would've came out that easy on my 3/4 ton 😂 took me 5 hours altogether to get both of my hub assemblies off last summer. After going back and forth with a sledge, torch, air hammer, trying to use the power steering a couple times which didn't work.
