Reinis Lodzins - Selfmade (Breath)

During the last 7 months, which had been full of turmoil both for me and everyone else, given what was going on in the world. This was especially difficult because I stuck in a foreign country quite far from home and my loved ones. However, during this time I decided that I want to train myself to stay calm. To not to worry as much about the things I cannot affect and focus on the smaller feelings and moments around me. I spent time documenting my surroundings- bird, trees, bridges- as well as my inner world. After these seven months, I had realized that I, indeed, had become more mature and more glad about life than ever before.
This music video is a compilation of recordings that I took during this time, which, combined, tells a feeling of ease, serenity and self-reflection. The song was also recorded by me during this. I chose to write it with my violin, an incredibly delicate instrument. It all tells a story of me discovering and improving myself.
