I agree with you about Sapphire Splendor doll however I don’t own her. I love her peacock colors and sweet Nanea face mold. Her eyes are really stunning. I am excited to see what the new Winter Princess will be!

When I heard Pink Stardust, my brain immediately went to the character Jyn Erso in Rogue One. Her nickname from her father was “Stardust.” So could a Star Wars doll be out of the question? Perhaps not. But I would have to agree— if we were getting a Star Wars collaboration, it would have leaked by now. And I’d be doing mental backflips in excitement.

But this whole business that the dolls are limited to the shopping experience? Wow. AG just keeps coming up with ways to make me feel slighted. I live south of Seattle. Our store, which was not located in Seattle AT ALL, but rather a good 20-45 minutes north (depending on the horrific traffic, I could only go on weekends, and that was an hour each way). The store closed in February 2021. The mall it was in had very expensive rent at the time. They’ve done some serious reworking, so who knows what it’s like now (the old Sears was demolished to make room for apartments), but it was also an inconvenient location for many. I never saw it sparsely populated, save for late hours, but you know? It’s not like it seemed it was underperforming. Not at all.

Anyway, AG closed a lot of stores 2021 through 2022. Now they’ve been coming up with all these lovely new in-store programs that people can’t get to. In the eastern part of the country, it’s possible a road trip could be planned depending on where you are. But the nearest store to me is Los Angeles! Why couldn’t they have brainstormed these events sooner, in an attempt to draw in more foot traffic to stores? People came from Oregon, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, heck even Alberta to go to the Seattle store. I never received the email, or the text, most likely because I don’t have a store, and as a result, I have no chance at getting those limited dolls. I feel like AG has completely abandoned the northwestern part of the US. And they’re losing out for it.

It'll probably be similar to the pink winter princess dolls, one Caucasian and one girl of color, pink starsust suggests something like a fairy or angel-like doll, so we'll see.

I was just looking at the “Wicked” trailer and the last photo has Glinda in a beautiful pink gown that I could imagine as pink stardust. Perhaps the 2 dolls are Glinda & Elphaba?

As always, thank you for sharing the information! 😊 I did NOT get an email for the event on September 4, but this morning I received the early booking email for the holiday happenings events in November & December. Depending on our schedule I can go to The NYC store or Tysons Corner Center store. I’m an adult collector so the will be the deciding factor in my choice if any can work with my schedule. I collect dolls of all kinds so I will have to see what she looks like before I can say if I’ll make the purchase for the holiday edition. Mattel released a Collectors Barbie last week that was an alien cowgirl and very sparkly, pink and beautiful! so it could be something similar but I passed on her with the unknown of the other Dolls yet to come out soon. Also, I agree with you I absolutely Love my Sapphire Splendor doll. No photo can really do her justice, she is stunning 💙🤍💙

I am attending but the girls will be in school. I have never purchased a holiday doll so we will see at this event They will be attending the girl of the year event later that month.

I think the colors would be Black and pink because Stars and space. Possibly a galaxy color Story similar to Luciana GOTY 2018.

I don’t think and I saw the original Star Wars when it came out in 1977 so yeah I’m that old I was out of high school and out of college. I adored the movie. I never liked another one although when they released them, I took my son to every one of them, and he was in heaven. When he went away to college, he had not met his roommate, but we knew that it was a match made in heaven when both young men brought their light sabers to college, and as you walked into their room, the light sabers were crossed, kind of like a crest of honor for the guys, only room together for two years, but I never had to worry. For two years until Andrew wants to live out on his own, I knew between he and his roommate they would always look after each other. I don’t think that Star Wars has the mass appeal to the adult collector. I could be wrong. But I do not think that it has the 8 to 10-year-old girls who would be the age bracket that might ask mom or grandma to buy her for them. And of course, yes she has an expansive wardrobe. But no bikini from Jabba the Hutt OK? If AG is trying to create an adult collectors line and the young play line. This would certainly be the way to do it then you could say OK maybe we could have some Bridgerton dolls or other things that we would never allow our children to watch just my opinion. I’m a mom and I’m a grandma my daughter has the original but were the original four andof course I’ve written before of how I literally came apart when the braids came out of Kirsten’s hair and Molly’s hair. But that’s what-year-olds do.

I didn’t get an email or text about the new one and I’m Berry. I won’t be going to the event, but I’m so glad you posted this video! I hope I don’t like the dolls because I’m broke!😂
