Bsolz Speaking facts. If you come from a good background, then embrace that. It means your parents did a good job. If people Judge you for that, ignore them. No need to Participate in the "Struggle Olympics" with them.

I feel bad for his parents. They worked hard to put him in a good situation and he showed alot of promise to make his mark in the nba in some way and make alot of money while doing it. Now hes done a 180 and is potentially gonna not get out until hes in his 30s or 40s, and probably would not good enough to play in the league. And he doesnt seem like the type to save the money he made off signing bonuses and endorsements. GL tho.

Idk I went to college with a bunch of ppl from good neighborhoods. Too many of them were doing crazy drugs. Some were even selling drugs out of their parents basement. Some ppl just don’t do well regardless of where they grew up.

It's wild that people are judging and getting mad at people for living in a good and loving home away from crime.

The real thing is these kids are associating with the energy from our community. I don't mean just the black community. The basketball and black athletic communities have such ingrained "from the mud with my pistol energy" that this shit permeates to the kids that want to receive it.

Also we dont and shouldn't speak to a kids home status because we have no idea what the fuck hes going through at home.

Clay Thompson is a perfect example of coming from a good background and doing your thing.

Being proud of being from a good neighborhood means your proud of your family and what they have accomplished. Dont disrespect what your family has done for you to be in that position

My whole childhood my family struggled and I’d meet kids my age from good backgrounds and neighborhoods and a lot of times I tell them about how I stole some food from dollar general and they’d come back the next day saying they stole from a store AND say they had the money for it, I had to tell him “ don’t be me dawg, cause while you tryna be me I’m wishin I was you, I stole that food cause I ain’t got nothing at home, you stole it out of ignorance.” Sometimes it’d open their eyes other times it led to their downfall

I won hundred percent agree with this point if you’re in a good neighborhood, there’s no need to pretend to be NBA YoungBoy. Young boy himself so he don’t know what comes over him when he makes some of his songs. He said it just happens. And he’s in California so most likely he’s going to get convicted. He had a Lebron on his back…. Bro had a way in the league and would have been
been straight for the rest of his life but instead he wants to be like his favorite rapper.
