TW!【 Squirrelflight's Lullaby 】Warriors animatic

I heard the audio and was like "wow I wanna animate something to this" but literally had no idea what and then I went like "actually you know what? I've been mostly doing warriors ocs art, why not do something canon" and so um- yeah, I ended up with Squirrelflight and Hollyleaf :]

not much to say about this really, just angst and also happy stuff idkk

the scenes I included here are:
- just a random scene with Hollykit and Squirrelflight
- Hollyleaf's death scene in The Last Hope (though I changed it up and put more angst into it :3)
- That one scene in Squirrelflight's Hope where Squilf temporarily goes to StarClan and gets to see Hollyleaf again

Hollyleaf is so special to me. I can understand wanting to meet your real mother, to know who she is and who you are. But… a real mother is the one who steps up. Squirrelflight was her mother, and always will be.

Reason #45 why I’ll die mad about how during Hollyleaf’s final moments she said ‘I couldn’t die without getting to know my own mother’ to Leafpool, and not something along the lines of ‘I didn’t want to die without seeing my real mother one last time’ to Squirrelflight. Like girly one of these women raised you and it wasn’t the woman who convinced you not to follow your dreams of being a doctor just so she could force your blind brother into doing it (despite the fact he hated it)
